القشابية هي لباس تقليدي شهير في تونس و الجزائر ، تصنع من الوبر والصوف الخالص، وهي ذات قيمة عالية في منظور عدد كبير من أبناء البلدين الذين يفضلون ارتدائها ويتفاخرون بها، تبعا لجمالية وفعالية القشابية التي يرتديها السكان المحليون لمقاومة البرد القارص في الشتاء، خصوصا في المرتفعات التي تنزل بها درجة الحرارة في فصل الشتاء .
تنسج القشابية بطريقة يدوية بحتة فبعد الغسل الجيد وإزالة جميع الشوائب والأتربة العالقة بالمادة الأولية وبعــد تجفيفها، توجه للخلط بالوسائل التقليدية (الثنثار - المشط) كي تتجانس ألوان المادة الأولية، وفي مرحلة متقدمة تبدأ أولـى خطوات الغزل حيث يتم نفش الصوف أو الوبر يدويا أي خلطه بواسطة آلة يدوية مكونة من جزئين تدعى القرداش، يتم تقطيع الصوف أو الوبر إلى أجزاء قابلة للفتــل ومن ثم تشكل هذه الأجزاء في شكل خيوط رفيعة أو متوسطة السمك حسب المنتج المراد نسجه، وذلك بواسطة آلة يدوية تدعى المغزل الذي يقوم من خلاله بفتل الخيوط من خلال الحركة الدائرية للمغزل، وتحدد كمية المادة الأولية اللازمة للإنتاج من خلال تقدير الناسج.

Le Kachabia est un vêtement traditionnel très apprécié en Tunisie et en Algérie, composé de pure laine et de peluche, que les locaux portent pour résister au froid glacial en hiver, en particulier dans les hauts plateaux où la température baisse en hiver.
Après un bon lavage, éliminez toutes les impuretés et les poussières attachées à la matière première et après le séchage, mélangez avec des moyens traditionnels (dispersion - peigne) afin d’harmoniser les couleurs de la matière première. Commencez les premières étapes du fil où la laine ou la charpie est manuellement Machine manuelle composée de deux parties appelées Qardash, la laine ou les peluches sont découpées en pièces à tisser et ensuite formées sous la forme de fils minces ou d'épaisseur moyenne selon le produit à tisser, à l'aide d'une machine à main appelée broche à travers laquelle il tord les fils par un mouvement circulaire. après avoir déterminer la quantité de matière première nécessaire à la production .
