علية التونسية اسمها الحقيقي " بيّة الرحّال " (4 نوفمبر 1936 - 19 مارس 1990)، مغنية وفنانة تونسية
بدأت مشوارها الفني في سن 14 و حققت نجاح ملحوظ . و في عام 1957 عندما استقلت تونس وأعلنت الجمهورية وقامت الإذاعة الوطنية التونسية، نجحت علية في التقدم إلى الإذاعة والتي اعتمدتها كمطربة . وبعدما احييت أم كلثوم حفلا في تونس عام 1968 استمعت وصحبة الماجدة وسيلة قرينة الرئيس التونسي السابق الحبيب بورقيبة فغنت علية في حضرة أم كلثوم (يا حبيبي كل شيء بقضاء) أعجبت بصوتها وعرضت عليها القدوم الى مصر.
وبعدها انتقلت الى مصر حيث بوابة النجومية والشهرة العربية وشاركت في حفلات الأسبوع الثقافى التونسي التي أقيمت في القاهرة و بعدها غنت في الحفل الذي نظم بكونسيرفاتوار الموسيقى العربية وبدأت طريق الشهرة . ومكثت في مصر 12 عاما حتي عادت الي تونس مرة أخرى وتوفيت عام 1990

Troisième enfant d'une famille qui en compte six, elle est adoptée par son oncle qui vit dans une rue de Bab Saadoun. Elle poursuit ses études dans une école de la banlieue sud où elle se distingue par sa voix suave. Le violoniste Ridha Kalaï épouse sa sœur aînée et remarque rapidement la voix de sa belle-sœuralors âgée de 12 ans. En cachette de la plupart des membres de la famille, il lui compose une chanson qu'elle fait enregistrer à Radio Tunis puis lui offre ses premières scènes. Elle se cache alors derrière le pseudonyme de Bent El Manar. Lorsqu'elle est découverte, elle est encouragée par son père, Béchir Rahal, l'un des pionniers du théâtre tunisien, ce qui n'est pas le cas de sa mère qui, pour contrecarrer les velléités artistiques de sa fille, la marie à l’âge de 14 ans, avec un homme du double de son âge, dont elle aura trois enfants.
